The Gloucester Township Police Records Unit is responsible for the maintenance and storage of all police reports, criminal records, arrest photographs, criminal investigations, motor vehicle crashes, and all service call reports.
The Police Records service window is located on the 2nd floor of the Municipal Building. The hours of the Police Records Service Window are Monday through Thursday 08:00a.m.-05:30p.m, and is closed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and all major holidays.
There are fees for copies of various police reports. These fees have been set in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, N.J.S.A. 39:4-131, and Gloucester Township Municipal Ordinance 51-1. Discovery requests made by insurance companies and attorney offices must be made in writing and mailed to: Gloucester Township Police Department, Police Records Unit, and P.O. Box 8, Blackwood, NJ 08012 Attention: Discovery Clerk, or fax request to 232-1342. All persons requesting discovery must indicate the reason for the request, and must show proper identification.
